Experimental Set Shear Centre

Technical Description

This accessory for the SE 110/SE 111 universal test frames is used to demonstrate the term unsymmetrical bending and the shear centre on carriers and bars. For this purpose, the set includes two experimental carriers made of steel. These have a U-profile and an L-profile and different cross-sectional areas. For secure assembly, both are equipped with steel flanges. The relevant carrier is loaded using a set of weights. The resulting deformation and torsion values are measured using two high resolution mechanical position measurement gauges. The set includes all the parts necessary for the experiment.
