Inbound data captures information on international students or staff coming from foreign institutions to the university, while outbound data refers to students or staff from the home university participating in academic or professional activities abroad. These data typically include details such as participants’ names, home and host institutions, countries, types of programs (e.g., exchange, internships, conferences), duration of stay, and sources of funding, and are essential for monitoring, reporting, and evaluating internationalization efforts.
