In a village far away from the city center with intricate roadways, stands a simple Musallah. The Musallah was constructed with Iman and Taqwa, by Allah servants that are not financially wealthy, yet substantially filled with immense love towards their creator. When large mosques in the city centers were desolated, this simple Musallah is able to attract many individuals that did not want to miss out on Jamaah prayers, including men, women, children, and adults.
In this Musallah, there were a group of children that always missed reading and learning the Al-Quran. Therefore they all showed strong efforts in reaching the Musallah, through walks, or using their bikes.
“I was touched when I first arrived in this village,” stated Jabal Noor, a KKN Unhas student NKRI Poso, on his chat in WhatsApp.
He indicated that a mother enthusiastically asked him, “Please teach my son how to read the Quran.”
That was known as a rare demand that may not surface often. They are the parents that fear their children will neglect the afterlife. But unfortunately, the building conditions that are far from perfect makes the Musallah become filled with rainwater during the season. The limitation of budgets and facilities to reach the place also makes matters such as wudhu facility difficult.
And also, many children wants to learn how to read the Quran, but not many acquire the Al-Quran nor Iqra. They want to learn to memorize the Surah and Prays but does not have the materials needed for it. They want to pray, but they do not have mukenah or the koko clothes.
