Unhas in The Maritime Scientific Paper conducted on the 9th-10th of December in the Ipteks Building Campus Unhas, started to exhibit their capacities. Unhas during the event snatched the second position in the field of coastal management, under the title “HOSTER (Home Distillation Seawater) based of Hybrid Energy System as a Drinking Water Alternative for Coastal Livelihoods in the Tanjung Bayam” by Muh. Hanif Muzakir as the head of the team. In the category of Maritime, Unhas obtained the third position with the title “Ranching Kima (Tridacnidae), Strategy of Rare Biota Preservation with the Method of Polyculture to achieve a Conservation Based Indonesia” by Syafriman Ali as the head of the team. Following, second position snatched in the poster category with the work made by Muh. Irsyad and team, under the title “Modern Livestock Technology Combination and Optimization of the Sea Highway to Support Development of the Maritime Continent Indonesian Potential. ”
Responding to the achievements of the Unhas researchers, Vice Rector III for Student Affairs and Alumni, Dr. Rasyid J., M.Si., expressed his gratitude towards such milestones. “Hopefully in two years, there would be an Unhas team that can attain the first position,” hoped the Vice Rector III of Unhas.
LKTM 2016 gathered 45 finalists out of the approximately 200 total scientific papers obtained by the committee. Unhas alone used submitted 60 papers. Below are the results of LKTM 2016.
