The Chancellor of Unhas expressed his gratitude for the excellent reception by BSU. This visit is part of efforts to develop international networks and cross connections between scientists between two countries, not just two universities.

"As two countries with a large wealth of resources, surely this collaboration will be very useful in increasing the productivity of universities and countries," said Prof. Dwia.

Collaboration will be conducted related to education and academic activities. Specifically, joint education will be carried out (double degree, single degree, non-degree training in international classes), joint research, joint publications, lecturer and student exchanges as well as education staff, conferences and other academic activities..

Related to the collaboration between Unhas and BSU, the Rector of USB, Prof. Dr. Obidjon Khamidov welcomed and thanked about the visit and trust of the Indonesian government through Unhas by choosing BSU as one of the Unhas partners.

"We will prepare a follow-up to this collaboration and hope to visit Unhas in the near future by carrying out activities related to the agreement that was just signed," said Prof. Khamidov.

Director of Communication of Unhas, Suharman Hamzah, Ph.D, explained that in a series of visits to Uzbekistan, Unhas approached collaboration in two forms, namely specific scientific collaboration with partner universities, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

"Specifically, we want to increase achievements in the social sciences and humanities cluster. This was realized by signing an agreement with Tashkent State University of Economics (TSUE), Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages (SSIFL), and Silk Road International University of Tourism (SRIUT),” said Suharman.

In another context, Unhas did not forget the collaboration that led to interdisciplinary collaboration. This model collaboration involves more work units. This will encourage various scholarships to take on the role and contribution to the achievement of targets according to the indicators that are used as a reference. (*)
