The Admission of the new students of two faculties (Economics & Business and Public Health) was marked with the symbolic assignation of the student names to the Economics and Business Dean, Prof. Dr. Gagaring Pagalung, S.E., M.S. Ak and the Public Health Dean, Dr. drg. Baharuddin Talib, M.Kes., Sp.Pros, also inaugurated through the symbolic placement of the alma mater jackets. A phase witnessed by the Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. Junaidi, and the Vice Rector IV, Prof. dr. Budu, Sp.M.(K), Ph.dm, as well as the Vice Deans of both faculties.

Dosen Fakultas Ekonomi Unhas Prof.Dr.Idayanti Nursyamsi mengatakan, ‘’glass ceiling’’ (sesuatu yang tak terlihat), menjadi hambatan bagi perempuan meraih prestasi tertinggi dalam pengembangan kariernya. Banyak penelitian sebelumnya memaparkan, perempuan mengalami kesulitan yang cukup tinggi dalam mengembangkan kariernya pada suatu organisasi.
