That amount, according to Vice Rector III, actually decreased from previous years. Rasyid further informed that, in 2015, the number of applicants who are applied in getting Bidikmisi scholarship was about 1,200 students, but only 780 students received the scholarship. In 2014, there are around 2000 students who applied, but only 964 students who qualify in getting the scholarship. "So the number of the recipients of this Bidikmisi scholarship has decreased," said Rasyid who also stated that the decrease in the number of recipients of the Bidikmisi scholarship is solely because of government budget allocations has also decreased.

The main criteria to receive the Bidikmisi scholarship, continued by Rasyid who is usually called by Mr. Cido, is the students should be in category of low income students approved by having the Students Scholarship recipient for Poor Students (BSM) or Indonesia Pintar (KIP) cardholder, or approved letter of the combination gross income of parents / guardian (husband and wife) at a maximum of Rp3,000,000.00 per month. It could also, said Rasyid, a combined of gross income of parents / guardians which is divided by the number of family members which is maximum Rp750.000,00 each month.

Moreover, another criteria is regarding the education level of parents or guardians which is as high as S1 (Strata 1) or Diploma 4; "It is also important to have good academic potential based on objective and accurate recommendations from their High School Principal," said Vice Rector III. The amount of Bidikmisi scholarship is $ 600,000 per month and it is given directly to the bank account of the scholarship recipients. "That does not include the cost of education (SPP), which is automatically paid by the government," Mr. Cido added. (Ab)
