Kanazawa University divides the program durations into two categories: the 1-year program; and the 6-month program. The participation of students from the Faculty of Nursing is an effort to encourage and maximize the achievements of Unhas in the World Class University (WCU).

“We want students to have the broadest possible experiences. One of our students incidentally enrolled in this program and was accepted. She completed the 6-month study period excellently,” explained Syahrul.

On a separate occasion, Dhiya Khalilah Taufan explained that her participation in this program was part of scientific development that she wanted to improve. By studying outside the university, she gained new learning experiences and atmosphere.

Through this program, Dhiya said the most significant difference she experienced. She can feel more disciplined than before, have better presentation skills, and better knowledge of research interests.

“One of the requirements of this program is a research proposal draft. I submitted a research proposal on footwear for people with Diabetes Mellitus as a continuation of my previous research. Ms. Saldy Yusuf, Ph.D. from Unhas and Prof. Sugama Junko and Prof. Makoto Oe from Kanazawa University were my supervisor in conducting research,” said Dhiya

The initial scheduled of this program was in March 2020 at Kanazawa University. Kanazawa University had to postpone the program due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
