Software Program L6 Structural Mechanics

Technical Description

This detailed learning software for the PC is used as a supplement to the different experiments in the SE 110/SE 111 series. It is a self-contained component of the L1 - L6 range of programs on statics. The educational objective is to demonstrate and compare bending moment distribution on loaded, double jointed frames. Force magnitudes and application points on a frame model can be varied on the PC. The software calculates the associated moment distribution. To check on learning progress, a set of questions is included that can be worked through by the student. Comprehensive save and print functions along with on-line help round off the software.
