The Department of Ophthalmic Health Sciences of the Faculty of Medicine, Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) was visited by the Director of Toyama University (Hospital) Japan and the head of the Toyama University Ophthalmology Department,
The meeting was a joint meeting with the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, UNHAS, Prof.Dr. dr. Haerani Rasyid, Sp.PD-KGH, Sp.GK, FINASIM accompanied by the Vice Dean for Division IV Dr. dr. Rina Masadah, M.Phil, Sp.PA (K) in the dean’s room, on Monday (17/7).
The delegation from Toyama University, namely Prof. Atshushi Hayashi, MD. (Director of Toyama University Hospital and Chairman of the Department of Ophthalmology Toyama University) and Masakii Ishida, MD, Ph.D, (Staff of Department of Ophthalmology) with Prof. Dr. Budu, M.Med.Ed, SpM (K), Ph.D (Dean of UNHAS Graduate School), dr. A. Jayalangkara T, Sp.KJ, and a team from the Department of Mental Health Sciences, and Dr. dr. Habibah Setyawati Muhiddin, Sp.M (K) from the Department of Eye Health Sciences.
The UNHAS meeting with the Oyama University (Hospital) Japan team had the intent and purpose of discussing various opportunities for cooperation that would be carried out to collaborate with medical education programs to improve the quality of learning quality.
The agenda of the visit was then continued to the Rectorate to meet with the Rector of UNHAS, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc. who welcomed the cooperation that was established, where this visit was a return visit to the visit of the rector and team to Toyama last May.
