The Graduate School of Hasanuddin University received a visit from the civil servant of the West Sulawesi Provincial Government on Friday, 22 February 2019. The arrival of civil servant of Provincial Government of West Sulawesi is related to the Workshop on Mapping the Competency of Civil Servant held at the Prof Hardjoeno Hall of the Graduate School of Hasanuddin University.
The workshop aimed to prepare career development plans and career patterns of civil servants in the scope of the West Sulawesi provincial government in 2019. The workshop was also attended by Deputy Dean of Academic and Scientific Publication of Hasanuddin University Graduate School, Prof. Dr. Ir. Laode Asrul, MP., and President of SDGs Center of Hasanuddin University, Drs Muhammad Yusri Zamhuri MA PhD.

On this occasion, Prof. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc., Ph.D, as Dean of the Graduate School of Hasanuddin University expressed his support for the implementation of these activities.
“I realize the importance of efforts to optimize the competence of civil servant and increase human resource skill and capability in various institutions, even in universities themselves. I see how my campus in Australia can serve 3000 international students with only two employees. Indeed, their abilities are supported by their optimum level of competencies for the effectiveness and efficiency of services” said Prof. Jamaluddin Jompa when opening the event.

This activity conducted by the West Sulawesi Provincial Government will last for three days in the city of Makassar. The Dean of the Graduate School of Hasanuddin University also expressed the importance of observing and evaluating the performance of human resources in other regions to enrich knowledge and broaden horizons. This workshop is also expected to provide additional knowledge that is useful for those civil servants in an effort to improve their work performance in 2019 and the upcoming period.(*)
