About the Program

Technology and Post Harvest Aquaculture Study Program is one of the programs offered at the Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University. The objective of this program is to produce applied graduates with advanced knowledge, abilities, and skills in the field of aquaculture and fisheries post-harvest, as well as instilling an entrepreneurial spirit, particularly focusing on endemic fish and economically significant freshwater commodities. Technology and Post Harvest Aquaculture Study Program emphasizes key aspects of cultivating aquatic organisms (including hatchery and enlargement) and post-harvest handling to yield final fishery products.

Strengths

Technology and Post Harvest Aquaculture study program was established as one of the study programs at the Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University, on April 6, 2023, based on the Decree of the Rector of Hasanuddin University. The Aquaculture Technology and Fisheries Post Harvest study program is relatively young but has considerable potential in its field. The Aquaculture Technology and Fisheries Post-Harvest Study Programme collaborates with industries or agencies in the field of aquaculture as a condition for the establishment of this study program.

Learning Process
