On March 27, 2023, the Leaders of the Faculty of Nursing (Fkep) welcomed Senior Lecturers representing the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, Netherlands, in the Senate Room of the Fkep. The two institutions have been working together since 2017 until now with various implementation activities, including student exchanges, visiting lectures, international intensive programs, and research. In the last five years, every year, as many as 4-6 students from Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen have come to study at the Nursing Study Program of UNHAS for one semester.
At this meeting, the two parties agreed to continue the collaboration by increasing the number of inbound and outbound students from the Fkep, UNHAS and Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen from 2024 onwards. Apart from that, preparations for joint research and training programs for nurse instructors at the hospital were also discussed.
On this occasion, Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Syahrul Said., PhD said that Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen is one of the strategic partners of the Fkep UNHAS. This can be seen from the implementation of yearly collaboration in various forms of activities in the last five years. In addition, there has been a long relationship with Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, where three lecturers took a short course for three months at the campus in 2007 and 2008, which was attended by Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, Syahrul Said, Ph.D. and Dr. Takdir Tahir, S.Kep, Ns, M.Kes.
