DAAD visited Universitas Hasanuddin some time ago. The visit was related to the follow up of the cooperation in the field of student, lecturer and scientists exchange. The visit took place in the rector's room, 8th Floor of the Hasanuddin University Building, at 9:15 a.m.
The Representatives of DAAD, Thomaz Zetter, the Head of DAAD Office in Jakarta, and Ritka Gloria were welcomed by Vice-rector for Research, Innovation, and Partnership, Prof. dr. Muh. Nasrum Massi. Ph.D., Director of Communication, Suharman Hamzah, Ph.D., and Director of Partnership, Dr. Ir. Muhammad Iqbal Djawad.
DAAD is a joint organization of higher education institution and Germany student association. The aim of this organization is basically to develop academics cooperation all around the world, especially through students, academics, and scientists exchange.
Next to its Head Office in Bonn, DAAD is represented by 15 representative offices from various cities all around the world. DAAD representative office in Jakarta was launched in 1990 and it has been recording a long history of Indonesian-German relationship in the field of higher education.
During the visit, Director of Communication and some delegates of Unhas generally explained to the DAAD representatives about the possessed potential of Unhas, such as the potential of students, lecturers, and supporting units (Teaching Industry, Hospital, animal farm, etc.). The visit ended at 11.00 PM (WITA). (*)
