Memories of Masaki Tani, Japanese diplomat in Makassar

Masaki Tani is a Japanese diplomat who served in the early days in Makassar, about three decades ago. He also taking time to convey his personal impression in the meeting of the Hiroshima University Alumni, at Novotel, on sunday (03/27/2016).

He recounts his introduction to Prof.dr.A.Husni Tanra, Ph.D, Sp.An thirty years ago. At that time he assigned as the Young Consul of Consulate General of Japan in Makassar at the time. That's when Masaki Tani met with Husni Tanra.

''Through Tanra Sensei, the friendship of Indonesia-Japan continues to increase. I want to thank from the bottom of my heart about the dedication of Tanra Sensei for a long time to improve the friendship between Indonesia and Japan, '' said Masaki Tani.

Masaki Tani also expressed his appreciation for the various activities carried out by Nurdin Sensei (Prof.Dr.H.M.Nurdin Abdullah, M. Agr.), Because his existence the friendship of Indonesian-Japanese can be further increased.

''I hope Nurdin Sensei role will increase even more in South Sulawesi.'' He concluded. (*)
