Learning Process
The learning process in the Chemistry Study Program involves various methods, including face-to-face lectures in class, structured assignments, and independent learning. Lectures can also take the form of seminars or other similar formats. Apart from that, there is practicum, studio practice, workshop practice, field work, internship, research, design, development, military training, and a final assignment in the form of research which produces a thesis according to the field of science of interest. The Chemistry Study Program also applies learning methods outside the study program, such as independent study, student exchange, internship/work practice, entrepreneurial activities, teaching assistance in educational units, research/research at research institutions, independent studies/projects, as well as community development services/Thematic KKN or humanitarian projects. With this comprehensive learning approach, students are expected to develop a deep understanding and relevant skills in the field of chemistry, as well as have the flexibility to
Career Prospects
The profile of graduates of the Bachelor Program of Chemistry includes various career paths, such as becoming academics, quality control experts, chemical consultants, and even entrepreneurs. However, some graduates also choose to work outside the field of chemistry by implementing their analytical skills in processing various information for decision making. The flexibility of analytical skills gained from this study program enables graduates to pursue a variety of career opportunities in a variety of sectors, demonstrating the adaptability and applicability of chemistry knowledge in a variety of professional contexts.
