On June 8, 2026, I participated in an intercultural exchange event held at Kunibiki Messe (Shimane Convention and Exhibition Center) in Matsue, Japan. The event was organized by the Center for Foreign Language Education of Shimane University with the aim of promoting understanding of different cultures and encouraging interaction between international students and local elementary school children and their families.

During the event, I gave a poster presentation about my home university, the Japanese Literature at Hasanuddin University (UNHAS). In my presentation, I introduced UNHAS, explained the subjects and fields of study offered in the Japanese Literature, and shared information about student life and academic activities in the department.

In addition to the poster presentation, I interacted with children through quizzes about Indonesia. These activities allowed me to introduce Indonesian culture, geography, and general knowledge in a fun and engaging way. The event also brought together international students from various countries and regions, each introducing aspects of their own cultures to the participants.

Through this experience, I was able to share information about UNHAS while also strengthening cultural exchange and mutual understanding with members of the local community.
