Hasanuddin University (Unhas) once again held its Graduation Ceremony for the February Period of the 2025/2026 Academic Year. A total of 1,365 graduates from various levels of study were officially inaugurated as graduates, consisting of 505 (37.00%) men and 860 (63.00%) women.
The event took place in two sessions, starting on Tuesday (3 February) and Wednesday (4 February) at Baruga A.P Pettarani, Unhas Tamalanrea Campus, Makassar.
The Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. drg. Muhammad Ruslin, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp.BM(K), presented the academic report on the February period graduates, along with various strategic efforts and achievements in academic and student affairs.
Prof. Ruslin explained that Unhas remains committed to maintaining a balance between new student admission capacity and graduate quality. Over the past three years, Unhas has shown a positive trend.
Unhas is also committed to minimizing the number of students who drop out at all levels of study. One of the strategies applied is monitoring and evaluation.
“Academic monitoring and evaluation is carried out systematically, aiming to identify students’ academic obstacles early so that appropriate and sustained support can be provided,” Prof. Ruslin explained.
This approach not only increases the on-time graduation rate but also fosters an academic ecosystem that is adaptive and oriented toward student success.
