Rumah Sakit Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Universitas Hasanuddin (RSPTN Unhas) or Universitas Hasanuddin Hospital conducted a soft launching Academic Health Center Building. The event was carried out by implementing the health protocol for Covid-19 at RSPTN Unhas on Tuesday (05/04).
At this event, dignitaries were present, including the Chancellor of Unhas (Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA.,) Director of Resources of the Directorate General of Higher Education (Dr. Mohammad Sofwan Effendi, M.Ed.), President Director of RSPTN Unhas (Dr. Dr. St. Maisuri Tadjuddin Chalid, Sp.OG (K)), Head of Project Implementation Unit (Prof. Dr. Indrianty Sudirman, SE, M.Sc.), and Head of PT. Hutama Karya.
Starting the activity, the Head of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) Prof. Dr. Indrianty Sudirman said that the completion of the Academic Health Center Building was one of the five components of work financed by the German KfW (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau) for the development project of the RSPTN Unhas.
The Academic Health Center building of the RSPTN Unhas serves as an integrated clinical education and skills center facility for the Medical Rehabilitation Center, Trauma Center, which will be equipped with functional rooms. There will still be the addition of stage two medical equipment for the needs of five superior services, and other work projects will be completed.
Unhas Rector, Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA, appreciated the entire performance of the RSPTN Unhas team together with partners that worked together to complete the construction phase of the building.
“Thank you to the ministry for facilitating us so that the RSPTN Unhas received funding support from KfW Germany. We also thank the Rector of Unhas in his time who initiated the construction of the RSPTN Unhas,” said Prof. Dwia
As a university leader, Prof. Dwia hoped that RSPTN Unhas can prove its existence as a center for health, education and research by having quality health services supported with a combination of the most complete and more sophisticated medical equipment.
“We hope that the RSPTN Unhas can be equivalent to international services, we have the potential for that. The presence of the Academic Health Center will trigger research results and innovative products,” explained Prof. dual.
Director of Higher Education Resources, Dr. Mohammad Sofwan Effendi, M.Ed., said that the Academic Health Center Building of the RSPTN Unhas has long been targeted to become an excellent program. This project assists in the development of the threefold missions of higher education (Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi).
“The Ministry realizes that the need for health personnel education facilities in obtaining the highest career in the academic field is very much needed through the results of scientific works published in the health sector. The presence of the Academic Health Center of the RSPTN Unhas really supports doctors in carrying out the tridharma,” said Dr. Mohammad Sofwan.
The launching of the Academic Health Center Building of the RSPTN Unhas was marked by the signing of the inscription by the Director of Higher Education Resources, Dr. Mohammad Sofwan Effendi, M.Ed., together with the Chancellor of Unhas Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA.
The soft launching was closed by reviewing the progress of the construction of the Academic Health Center Building, RSPTN Unhas, and ended at 11.30 WITA.
