The Chinese Language and Culture Study Program of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University (FIB UNHAS) held a departure ceremony for 20 students who received scholarships for the 2+2 program at Hasanuddin University – Nanchang University in the class of 2022. The activity took place in Prof. Mattulada Hall, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Tamalanrea Campus, on Thursday, March 2, 2023.
Starting the activity, the Chairperson of the Chinese Language and Chinese Culture Study Program at FIB UNHAS, Dra. Ria Jubhari, M.A., Ph.D., in her speech congratulated 20 students who had successfully obtained a scholarship program at Nanchang University. She further explained that the 20 students will take part in the scholarship program for two years or for four semesters of lectures, which started in August 2022.
On the same occasion, Vice-Dean for Partnership, Research and Innovation Dr. Kaharuddin, M.Hum., said that the credits had been completed by students for two years at Hasanuddin University and two years at Nanchang University, as the name of the 2+2 scholarship program Hasanuddin University – Nanchang University. The departure ceremony was officially opened by the Director of Student Affairs and Career Preparation, Abdullah Sanusi, SE, M.B.A., Ph.D. In his remarks, he expressed his appreciation and pride for the 20 students who succeeded in becoming part of Nanchang University.
Furthermore, Abdullah Sanusi hoped that students who will study at Nanchang University will keep in mind their goals and missions to broaden their knowledge and learning experience and expand their global networking.
After the speech, it was continued with the symbolic handover of 20 names of scholarship program students who were handed over directly by the Head of the Chinese Language and Chinese Culture Study Program of FIB UNHAS, Dra. Ria Jubhari, M.A., Ph.D., to each student.
