The Vice Rector for Partnership, Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Business of Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Eng. Adi Maulana, S.T., M.Phil., visited Kanazawa University in the context of mutual discussions related to the continuation of the collaboration agreement between the two parties and the expansion of double degree collaboration for the master’s program.
The visit was welcomed directly by the Vice President of Kanazawa University (Prof. Megumi Shimura) on Tuesday (11/10) at Kanazawa University, Japan.
The Head of the Unhas International Office (Andi Masyitha Irwan, S.Kep., Ners., M.Kep., Ph.D), Dean of Nursing Unhas (Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kep., M.Si) and Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs (Syahrul Said, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes., Ph.D) were also present attending the visit.
Prof. Adi explained, Unhas and Kanazawa University have long established a partnership since 2017 in the field of developing the tridarma of higher education. Various collaborations have been carried out such as research collaboration, guest lectures to student exchange programs.
The visit includes conducting joint evaluations related to various academic activities that have been carried out and also aims to discuss together the sustainability of the implementation of the MoU between the two parties.
“This is the fifth year of the Unhas and Kanazawa cooperation agreement, for that we are holding a meeting to discuss the sustainability of the collaboration, as well as if possible to expand our collaboration in the double degree program for the master’s level,” explained Prof. Adi.
After discussing several important agendas, the meeting was continued with a tour of several learning infrastructure facilities facilities available at Kanazawa University, Japan as an evaluation material for increasing Unhas’ learning capacity.
