Hasanuddin University (UNHAS) through the Faculty of Engineering conducted a working visit to the Faculty of Science, University Malaya, Malaysia. The Unhas delegation led by Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, ST. MT, IPM, as the dean was received directly by the Deputy Dean for Research at the Faculty of Science, University of Malaya, Prof. Dr. Azhar Arifin. The activity was established on Thursday (10/11) at University Malaya, Malaysia.
Prof. Isran Ramli explained that the visit was part of the Faculty of Engineering’s international partnership network model development program that had been launched as an effort to increase partnerships with foreign partner universities. He encouraged all study programs within the Faculty of Engineering to explore cooperation with partner universities.
“Our goal is of course to discuss the MoA of cooperation with the Department of Geology, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya. We have long established a partnership with University Malaya, besides staying in touch our goal is also to discuss several opportunities for cooperation that can be developed, “explained Prof. Isran.
At the meeting, the leadership of the Faculty of Science and the Geology Department of Universiti Malaya appreciated the international partnership network program of the Faculty of Engineering Unhas and was willing to collaborate in student exchanges. He said, there are several things that can be developed in the collaboration of the two parties, one of which is to carry out a double degree Master of Geology program, collaborate on research, and join international conferences.
