Jurnal Forest and Society Unhas Peroleh Peringkat Q1, Nilai SJR Tertinggi di Indonesia

Journal of Forest and Society of Universitas Hasanuddin Received Q1 Rank, Highest SJR Score in Indonesia.

“The achievement of this Q1 ranking will have a significant impact on the quality of the Unhas research environment,” said Alif.

The achievement of Q1 was triggered by the articles’ quality, which has a high citation of articles published by the Journal. In 2020, the Journal recorded 150 citations. This is due to the uniqueness of the articles in the Journal.

“We will maintain the work pattern by far while we are increasing the research network, mainly related to ecological politics in Southeast Asia or areas that are rarely represented in academic literature,” said Alif.

The Journal of FS is currently the Journal with the highest SJR score in Indonesia within any field, an SJR index of 0.623. With this score, The Journal of FS Unhas ranks first in Indonesia for all categories of science.

While specifically for forestry sciences, The Journal of FS achieves the 2nd position in Asia (below the Information Processing in Agriculture journal from China) and the 35th ranking worldwide.
