Rector of Hasanuddin University Welcomed the Delegation from Griffith University to Discuss Education and Research Collaboration

Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc., the Rector of Hasanuddin University, welcomed the visit of Griffith University’s President and Vice President (Global) to talk about education and research cooperation.

The activity started at 16.00 Wita in Meeting Room A, 4th Floor of the Unhas Rectorate Building, on Thursday, (October 27).

At the meeting were the Rector of Unhas, Prof. Dr. Eng. Adi Maulana, S.T., M.Phil., the Vice Rector for Planning, Development, and Finance, Prof. Dr. Eng. Adi Maulana, S.T., M.Phil., leaders, deans of faculties, heads of research institutions, and Unhas Lecturers who are graduates of Griffith University.

Professor Carolyn Evans, who is the president of Griffith University, and Professor Sarah Todd, who is the Vice President (Global) of Griffith University, were there to represent the university.

During the visit, the Rector of Unhas, Prof. JJ, warmly welcomed the arrival of the Griffith University team to Hasanuddin University. He said that the presence of Unhas lecturers as alumni of Griffith University could be a great opportunity for Unhas to expand collaboration. so that it is expected to be able to develop various educational programs for students.

Prof. JJ also hopes that the cooperation program will help students improve themselves and their science fields by giving them international perspectives and the best educational facilities.

On the same occasion, Professor Sarah Todd expressed her pleasure at being able to visit Unhas directly and meet with alumni of the same campus. The partnership between both parties has been established as a form of commitment to achieving goals through research and studies in various scientific fields.

According to her, it is essential that universities combine excellence in teaching and research with a commitment to educational development. So he hopes this cooperation can contribute to the world of education.

The agenda of the visit was then continued with a discussion session, followed by the awarding and exchange of souvenirs by both campuses.
