About the Program
The Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program (PSSF) is an undergraduate study program at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Hasanuddin University. PSSF focuses on basic pharmaceutical sciences, pharmaceutical technology, pharmacognosy-phytochemistry (chemistry of natural products and traditional medicine), pharmaceutical microbiology, pharmaceutical chemistry, clinical and community pharmacy, as well as other scientific fields that can develop the competencies of undergraduate pharmacy graduates.
Strengths
- PSSF is accredited "Excellent" by the Indonesian Higher Education Independent Accreditation Institute (LAM-PTKes). Active until June 2027.
- Apart from that, PSSF has also been recognized and received Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften undder Mathematik (ASIIN) international accreditation since 2019.
- The lecturers at PSSF have been recognized by both domestic and foreign institutions, which can be seen in the form of various national and international collaborations so that opportunities for students to develop their knowledge in the field of pharmacy can be wide open to the international level.
Learning Process
- The learning process is carried out through various learning methods. These include: interactive face-to-face classes, laboratory practicals, presentations and group assignments, project-based studies, case-based studies and internships
- The final assignment is in the form of research prepared in the form of a thesis
Career Prospects
PSSF graduates generally work within the scope of pharmaceutical technical personnel in various pharmaceutical service facilities such as hospitals, health centers, pharmacies, clinics, industry and the pharmaceutical distribution sector. Apart from that, PSSF graduates can also have careers as researchers, managers and entrepreneurs.
