“Unhas’s cooperation with industry partners, especially PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk, which has been in place since 2014, is a form of strategic collaboration in building outstanding human resources in animal husbandry. This industry partner’s contribution is very significant to the development of the Faculty of Animal Science,” said Prof. JJ
Prof. JJ further stressed that the partnership needs to continue to be developed in a sustainable way.
“Going forward, we hope this cooperation will not only focus on production but also expand to academic strengthening, development of educational programs, research, innovation, and human resource capacity building,” Prof. JJ added.
Meanwhile, Ambassador of Thailand to Indonesia H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat said this was the Ambassador’s first visit to Hasanuddin University. The Ambassador appreciated the facilities, innovation, and development of modern livestock systems at Unhas, particularly at the Faculty of Animal Science.
“This visit opens great opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Thailand and Unhas, not only in animal husbandry but also in education, research, and knowledge exchange,” the Ambassador said.
The visit is expected to be a strategic moment to expand Unhas’s network of international cooperation while strengthening Unhas’s role as a center for world-class innovation, research, and higher education, particularly in sustainable animal husbandry and agribusiness. (*/dhs)
