Hasanuddin University will ‘add' two new faculties, namely the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (formerly the Faculty of Agriculture) and the Faculty of Nursing (Faculty of Medicine). Legally, the presence of these two faculties broadly listed in Organisasi dan Tata Kerja (OTK) new of the rector of Unhas .
There is no change in education operational, especially in terms of new admissions, because it was allocated through each program of study that would under the faculty, “Junaidi Muhidong, Vice Rector I of Hasanuddin University said, on Tuesday (02/16/2016).
It is just, said Junaidi Muhidong, just waiting OTK of each faculty so that there is management implementation. He estimates, the preparation of OTK at the both of the faculty not later than next month.
Faculty of Agricultural Technology consists of two courses, namely Agricultural Engineering with Food Science and Technology . Previous Agricultural Technology is the department in charge of the study program : Agrotechnology, Agribusiness, Food Science and Technology, and Agricultural Engineering. While the Faculty of Nursing consists of S-1 (undergraduate Nursing) and Ners (nursing profession).
Two Option
The idea of the establishment of these two faculties, according to Muhidong Junaidi, began to be discussed and approved by the Senate Unhas around 2014. When this proposal was posted to the Ministry of Education and Culture (that time) Unhas get the answers with two options. First, Unhas can enter two new faculty into the new statute Unhas, or wait Unhas be a Legal Entity State Universities (PTN BH).
The ministry's first bid was not processed because UNHAS is awaiting the issuance of Government Regulation on the Statute of Unhas (No. 53 of 2015). Contained inthe statutes, in the new organ Unhas as PTN BH Unhas consisting of the Academic Senate (SA), Council of Trustees (MWA), and Rekor. Faculty is an element that is under OTK of the Rector.
When the study program or this major will change the 'parent' as a new faculty?
