For the purpose of expanding collaborative studies and research, Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) held a special meeting with the Education and Culture Attaché (Atdikbud) of the Indonesian Embassy in New Delhi to discuss opportunities for potential collaboration with universities in India. The event was conducted online via the zoom meeting application at 16.00 WITA, Friday (10/6).

The Rector of Universitas Hasanuddin, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc., through his remarks, explained that Unhas continues to advance collaboration opportunities in education with university partners from overseas, and now is the right time to establish collaboration with one of the South Asian Countries, namely India.

“Unhas has proven its commitment to keep striving to enlarge international collaboration with foreign universities. Unhas continues to level up the quality of education through the university’s reputation by providing services and access to international education to lecturers and students with the aim of actualizing the three pillars of higher education,” explained Prof. JJ.

Up to this point, 5 universities from India have collaborated within the framework of Academic Peer with three Unhas faculties (Faculty of Marine Sciences and Fisheries, Medicine, and Pharmacy). Here is the collaboration list:
