Ratio of SNMPTN applicants of the Hasanuddin University is rises

In this year Hasannuddin University targeted around 22,000 more high school graduates, while in 2015 the number of applicants reached 29,000 more. This is for the first option, while the second option is unknown.

Although quantitatively there is a decrease in the national level and Hasanuddin University level, but there was an increase in terms of the ratio (comparison) Hasanuddin University enthusiasts against the national enthusiasts. In 2015, about 3.3% of SNMPTN applicants choose Hasanuddin University as the first choice, while in 2016 ratio of the applicants rise around 3.5%.

This data was revealed during a meeting of the charging Predictor Study Program SNMPTN 2016 Hasanuddin University in a meeting room A of rectorate building Hasanuddin University, on tuesday (03/29/2016). The ongoing meetings are also attended by Vice Rector II Prof.Dr.Muhammad Ali, M.Si, featuring resource person Dr.Yusafir Hala, M.Sc. guided by Bureau Chief Academic Hasanuddin University Erna Rival, S.E. M.M. This meeting was attended by Vice Dean I, Head of the Study Program, and the head of the Division of Education Hasanuddin University.

On that occasion, Yusafir Hala hoped to all study programs in order to equip their website with the latest data that can be used as a reference for the high school graduates to choose the study program.

As a reported previously, the activity of SNMPTN is currently in the process of printing card examinees which starts on March 22 and ends on 21 April 2016. The announcement pass of SNMPTN on May 10,2016 and re-registration on May 31,2016 to coincide with the implementation of the written test of Selection Joint of State Universities ( SBMPTN).

Through SNMPTN and SBMPTN Hasanuddin University receive each 40% of new students, and 20% through the independent paths. Total new students accepted by Hasanuddin University on the year of 2016 predicted to be around 5145 people. (*).
