Saturday, 11 June 2016, 10.00 Amsterdam time, the one-week elected Repre AMSA FK UH, Iin Tammasse, had an opportunity to reunite with the prior Repre AMSA FK UH several periods ago, dr. Diandra Sabrina Nasir Kalla in the Schipol Amsterdam airport, Netherlands. The former Repre AMSA is the first woman elected to lead AMSA FK UH.
Doctor Diandra Sabrina which is no other than the youngest daughter of the current Unhas Rector, with a more familiar name of dr. beby, is currently undergoing her Ph.D. program in the Netherlands. Hearing the story of her AMSA junior plans to visit the Netherlands, dr. Beby made the opportunity to meet her at the airport before Iin’s departure back to Indonesia by 11 June 2016.
The meeting between senior and junior is one that is of emotions, as they were close like relatives. The relations between the both is of no surprise as both were returnees of the exchange program AFS. Beby as a returnee from the United States, while Iis as a returnee from Swiss, Europe.
Doctor Beby during the one-hour conversation with Iin, reminded her and the AMSA members to still prioritize class lectures.
“To be frank, I am a little bit disappointed for forcing organization matters, while sidelining lectures back in the day,” stated the cute faced doctor that looks similar to her mother, Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, M.A., the current Unhas Rector.
“If possible, make both successful, lectures and organization,” stated dr. Beby before her juniors were returning back using the Cathay Pacific airlines that would fly them to Hongkong, then to Indonesia.
Along with dr. beby was dr. Dodo, a person, also pursuing his Ph.D. in the Netherlands. After seeing dr. Beby, dr. Dodo directly kissed her hands, as he once attended the MKU class that dr. Beby taught a while ago. Especially dr. Jum –‘my-ex’- was an advising lecturer when dr. Beby underwent her Co-Ass in Neurology. Dr. Dodo is the son of PA dr. Jum.
Eventually, the meeting that afternoon became the reunion between Junior and Senior, a joyful meeting indeed.
