Graduate School of Universitas Hasanuddin conducted their Iftar in the ground floor of the Graduate School Unhas, Wednesday (8/6). The Dean of the Graduate School, Prof. Dr. Muh. Ali opened the event that has been annually conducted by the School, Prof. dr. Veni Hadju, M.Sc., Ph.D. provided the Iftar with an Islamic speech that is conveyed for 30 minutes, while waiting for the fast breaking time to arrive.
In his speech, the lecturer of the Faculty of Public Health Unhas stated of his hopes so that all of the Muslim communities including the academics of Unhas, to utilize the holy month of Ramadhan to increase their deeds. “Nothing can guarantee that we can yet again meet the holy month next year. Therefore we need to utilize our time by conducting as many deeds as possible throughout this month,” hoped Veni. “We need to remind each other. If at 12 there still is a meeting taking place, participants need to echo the need to stop the meeting. Because what needs to be extended is our deeds during the month of Ramadhan,” added Veni that was greeted with applauses.
Attending the event also was the Unhas Rector Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, MA., along with Mr. H.M. Natsir Kalla, SE., MM., and several Heads of the University, including those of the Graduate School
