Tunisian ambassador to Indonesia H.E Mourad Belhassen, Tuesday (24/5) delivered a public lecture at the Hasanuddin University with the topic of '' Democratic Transition in Tunisia and Economic Challenges that fluctuating within a regional context ''.
Accompanied by the Director of International Cooperation Unhas, Dr.Ir.Muhammad Iqbal Djawad, M.Sc., Mourad Belhassen also introduced his country that located between Europe with Africa and between North Africa with the Middle East.
''The challenges of Tunisia is this country very close to Libya and Yemen, where both of this country which are experiencing prolonged conflict,'' said Mourad Belhassen.
The main problem of Tunisia, the ambassador said, is related to the younger generation Tunisia are mostly unemployed. This condition can only attract them became militants (Mujahideen) in the countries that are involved in the conflict with the country and adjacent to Tunisia. (*).
