A total of 20 companies from various types of businesses, attended the Job Fair Hasanuddin University Career Expo which took place for two days (30-31/3/2016) at the Center for Research Activities (PKP) Hasanuddin University. Most of them were newly graduated on March 23, 2016, also stood in line to register their name on the job fair event.
Among the companies that participated to capture of human resources (HR), namely banking institutions, construction, telecom operators, and company property, as well as the company's career development.
On the top floor of the PKP building, the applicants can choose companies that interest them, some of the employees from these companies are ready to serve a variety of questions and information required of participants. These companies also provides various brochures containing information about those companies.
There are also companies after received the registration from applicants and see the necessary administrative completeness directly offer to the applicants immediately following the psychological tests were carried out in one of the public universities in Makassar.
On 28 and March 29, 2016, in Baruga Andi Pangeran Petta Rani of tamalanrea campus, Hasanuddin University also held a job fair that presented by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI). In the two-day job fair, PT KAI succeed to register 1,500 applicants, was immediately closed on the second day. From the participants as much as it will be accepted as a machinist as many as 70 people and 100 administrative personnel. They were trained for two years in Java and Sulawesi and prepared their placement, when the train service will operated in Makassar-Pare Pare .. (*).
