Universitas Hasanuddin Hospital (RS Unhas) since three days ago, utilized the 1st floor of the B and C building as emergency rooms (IGD), which have been previously used as the EF building. The utilization of such a facility coincides with a socialization and Iftar, Wednesday (15/6), attended by the Unhas Rector Prof. Dr. Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu, M.A., former Unhas Rector Prof. Dr. dr. Idrus A. Paturusi, University Secretary (Sekun) Dr. Ir. Nasaruddin Salam, M.T., Vice Rector II Unhas Prof. Dr. Syamsul Bachri, S.H., M.H., RS Unhas Director Dr. dr. Andi Fachruddin Benyamin, Sp.PD, KHOM, Director of Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital, Director of RSGM Unhas, officials of the Unhas Hospital, a number of Deans, Heads of Institutions, and other invitees.
President Director of RS Unhas Andi Fachruddin Benyamin reported that the facilities in the IGD are equipped with two operation rooms. The use of such a facility would lead to the increase of capacity to facilitate patients in RS Unhas.
“Besides for the use of services, the facilities can be optimized for Bachelor Degree education and specialists education, therefore leading to firm developments of its performances in comparison to other hospitals, stated Andi Fachruddin Benyamin.”
He is certain that RS Unhas as one of the 24 educational hospitals in Indonesia, and the only higher education institution hospital, will be able to reflect its elevated levels of performances.
After the Iftar and Magrib prayers, Unhas Rector Dwia Aries Tina Pulubuhu was followed along by other functionary officials present, to observe the facilities of the simulation room of RS Unhas located at the EF Building.
