About the Program
The Health Administration and Policy Study Program is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Public Health which focuses on the science of health administration and health policy and applications in the field of health policy based on evidence based research and technology.
Strengths
- The Master of Health Policy Administration Study Program is the best and only study program in Eastern Indonesia.
- There are only two AKK Master's Study Programs in Indonesia, namely the AKK FKM Unair Master's Study Program and the AKK FKM Unhas Master's Study Program.
Areas of Specialization
The specializations in the AKK Masters Study Program will be developed further, the specialization plans that will be opened are the specializations in health service administration, health service management and health economics
Learning Process
- Learning is carried out directly in the classroom, as well as through field practice including apprenticeships in government and private agencies.
- Lectures can also be taken at other study programs or universities, as part of the curriculum.
The final assignment is research that produces a thesis and publication in the Scopus journal in health journals.

AKK Masters Study Program graduates are absorbed in various institutions as:

- National Health Consultant
- State Civil Apparatus at the Ministry of Health, Health Service, Hospitals, Community Health Centers, Port Health Service, National Narcotics Agency, National Population and Family Planning Board (BKKBN), Social Health Insurance Administration Body (BPJS) and other government institutions
