About the Program
Occupational Health and Safety (K3) Master's Study Program is one of three study programs in the Master's degree program managed by the Faculty of Public Health, Hasanuddin University. In 2002, the Masters in K3 Concentration was under the Masters in Public Health Study Program, joining the Environmental Health Concentration. In 2003, the K3 concentration returned under the umbrella of the Master of Public Health Science study program until 2020. The K3 specialization under the Master of Public Health in 2014 was still in the form of a concentration or specialization, but has stood alone and educated 98 students until 2020. These alumni are now spread across various industrial sectors, hospitals, Employment Services, Health Services, K3 implementing organizations, research institutions and several educational institutions and so on. The results of the alumni tracer show that many alumni of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Master's Study Program currently occupy structural positions at both top and middle manager levels spread across the field of Occupational Safety and Health.

Areas of Specialization
The Occupational Safety and Health Master's Study Program does not yet have a concentration (specialization), research and community service are carried out in accordance with the research and community service roadmap of the Occupational Safety and Health Study Program lecturers
Learning Process
- Learning is carried out in a hybrid manner, also by visiting companies (out in the field) and also includes an Industrial Residency/Internship program at each company
- Students will get active learning experiences with various forms of learning, including industrial residencies, benchmarking to international level universities, training at national and international levels, international conferences, and many new things related to the latest K3 technology.
Career Prospects
Graduates of the Master of Occupational Safety and Health are absorbed in various institutions such as K3 Program Managers in Companies (Safety Officers and Safety Managers), Community Health Centers & Health Services (Occupational Health Advisors), Hospital K3 Sections, Ministry of Manpower (K3 Examiners and Labor Inspectors), Researchers, K3 Lecturer, Providing K3 training services (PJK3), and Consultant.
