About the Program
The Bachelor of Public Health Study Program (S1 Public Health) is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Public Health, Unhas, which focuses on improving the level of public health through disease prevention programs. The Undergraduate Public Health Study Program consists of seven departments that are students' choice of specialization, namely Epidemiology, Biostatistics/KKB, health promotion, Health Policy Analysis, Environmental Health, Occupational Health, and Hospital Administration.

- Superior Accreditation from the Indonesian Higher Education Independent Accreditation Institute (LAM-PTKes) which is valid until 2027.
- Internationally accredited by Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik (ASIIN) from 2022 to 2028

Learning Process
- Learning is carried out directly in class or hybrid in several classes with external lecturers/foreign lecturers, field practice in villages for 3 semesters, practice in laboratories, internships in various related institutions such as health services, health centers, hospitals, industry and private sector, as appropriate with interest
- Lectures can also be carried out at other study programs or universities aspart of the curriculum, as a form of independent learning program
- The final assignment is in the form of research that produces a thesis for a particular field of study according to specialization
Career Prospects
Graduates of the Bachelor of Public Health study program are expected to contribute and become main actors in solving public health problems through the profiles of managers, leaders, researchers, educators, communicators, entrepreneurs and consultants. Many Bachelor of Public Health alumni are absorbed in various institutions as researchers in the field of public health, civil servants in various related institutions, companies, hospitals, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), leaders in several departments, independent consultants, entrepreneurs in various fields.
