About the Program

The Bachelor of Architecture Program (PSSA) is one of the programs in the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University, focusing on the science, technology, and culture-based design of buildings. It educates students to become future architects who have a deep understanding of their profession.

Strengths

  • PSSA serves as a leading center for the development of knowledge, technology, arts, and culture based on Tropical Architecture of the Indonesian Archipelago.
  • Accredited as "EXCELLENT" since September 14, 2021, by BAN PT and AUN-QA Certificate since December 29, 2018.

Areas of Specialization

The applicants for PSSA consist of :

  • Building Design
  • Theory, History, and Behavior of Architecture
  • Building Science and Technology
  • Materials, Structures, and Building Construction
  • Housing and Settlement Environment.

Learning Process

  • Learning takes place face-to-face in classrooms, studio work, laboratory workshops, as well as fieldwork, including internships and apprenticeships in government and private institutions.
  • Lectures can also be conducted in other study programs or universities as part of the curriculum.
  • he final assignment is divided into two tracks, namely the design track and the research track, to produce a thesis on specific areas of interest.
