About the Program

The Metallurgical and Materials Engineering program (PS-S1 TMM) at FTUH is a program focusing on the science and technology of metal extraction, metal manufacturing technology, and materials engineering. Graduates of the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering program possess excellent knowledge and skills in metal extraction, manufacturing metallurgy, and environmentally conscious materials engineering.

PS-S1 TMM is a new study program that is currently undergoing accreditation for minimum standards.

Learning Process

  • Course learning processes are conducted both in classroom settings, laboratories, and online, utilizing various methods such as Discovery Learning, Laboratory-Based Learning, Case-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, Problem-Based Learning, and other interactive learning approaches.
  • In addition to courses, there are also internship and practical work programs carried out in industries or institutions related to metallurgy and materials.
  • The Final Project consists of a research report or equivalent document.

Graduates of the PS-S1 TMM program can contribute significantly, particularly in the metal extraction industry, manufacturing and fabrication industries, basic metal industries, automotive and transportation industries, construction industry, and other industries related to metals and materials.
