About the Program
The Master of Industrial Engineering program (PSMTI) is one of the programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, focusing on the design and improvement of integrated systems involving humans, materials, information, equipment, and energy. It is based on specialized knowledge and skills in mathematics, physics, and social sciences.
Strengths
- Accreditation "Good" from LAM TEKNIK valid since August 4, 2021.
- The lecture facilities, faculty, and academic atmosphere strongly support the teaching process, allowing it to be completed on time.
Areas of Specialization
Specializations in PSMTI consist of :
- Business engineering and management
- Manufacturing systems and logistics management
- Ergonomics and Occupational Health and Safety (K3).
Learning Process
- Lectures are conducted using blended learning methods, which combine face-to-face and online learning.
- Theses are tailored to the three specializations mentioned above, addressing research themes that can be conducted in laboratories available at the Department of Industrial Engineering or real case themes in the industry.
Career Prospects
Career opportunities for graduates of the Master of Industrial Engineering program (PSMTI) include academia/lecturer positions at universities, as well as professional roles and managerial positions in state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and national or international private companies. The majority of PSMTI graduates are absorbed as lecturers in both public and private universities.
