About the Program
The Bachelor's Degree Program in Civil Engineering (PS-S1-TS) is one of the programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, which focuses on the technology of design, construction, maintenance, and public facilities such as buildings, road infrastructure, bridges, dams, and other infrastructure.
Strengths
- From 2001 to 2003, included in the Technological and Professional Skills Development Sector Project (TPSDP) program.
- From 2006 to 2022, accredited as "A/Excellent" by the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT).
- From 2022 to 2027, "Excellent" accreditation from the independent accreditation institution, LAM TEKNIK.
- From 2017 to 2022, obtained Quality Assurance certification from the Asean University Network (AUN-QA).
- From 2020 to 2026, accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
- From 2021 to 2025, obtained accreditation from the Indonesian Accreditation Board for Engineering Education (IABEE).

Learning Process
Learning is conducted through direct classroom instruction, laboratory practicals, fieldwork, and includes internship programs in government and private institutions. Lectures can also be taken in other study programs or universities as part of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The final project consists of research resulting in a thesis on a specific field of study according to the interests and expertise groups (KKD).
Career Prospects
Graduates of PS-S1-TS hold the title of Bachelor of Engineering (ST) with a profile as Consultants and Planning Contractors, Researchers and Academics, Management positions in Government and private institutions, Non-Construction Service Companies, Building Appraisal and Investment Analysts, Entrepreneurs, or Construction Service Providers.
