About the Program
The Master of Geological Engineering program is one of the programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, focusing on the field of Geological Engineering and other earth sciences, particularly aiming to establish the program as a center for education and the development of excellent and professional human resources in the fields of mineral resources, disaster management, and marine geology.
Strengths
- In 2018, the Master of Geological Engineering program was accredited B by BAN-PT.
- In 2023, accreditation was conducted by LAMTEK (awaiting accreditation results).
Areas of Specialization
The specializations in the Master of Geological Engineering program consist of 3 specializations :
- Energy and Mineral Resources
- Geotechnical and Environmental Geology
- Marine Geology and Coastal Engineering.
Learning Process
- The learning process is conducted both face-to-face and remotely.
- Regional geological excursions are conducted, including field visits and industrial tours.
- The final research project results in a thesis according to the specialization expertise
