About the Program
The Master of Mining Engineering Study Program ("PSMTP") is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, which focuses on the science and application of mineral and coal mining.
Strengths
- In 2020 PSMTP was officially opened and incorporated into the Faculty of Engineering, Unhas.
- Has "Baik / Good" accreditation status from BAN-PT since September 27 2022.
Areas of Specialization
PSMTP specializations consist of :
- mineral and coal exploration
- Mine planning and valuation
- Geomechanics
- Analysis and mineral processing
- Mine environment.
Learning Process
- Learning is carried out in a hybrid manner: Face-to-face lectures are carried out directly in class and online via zoom; Non face-to-face lectures (proposal seminars, results seminars, thesis exams) are carried out directly in class.
- The final project (research) which results in a thesis is carried out in a particular field of study according to the interest.
Career Prospects
Unhas PSMTP graduates are employed in various mineral and coal mining industries/companies, lecturers/researchers at various universities, as well as entrepreneurs.
